Tanzania Early Childhood Education and Care (TECEC) is a national grassroots organization committed to addressing developmental delays in children by equipping parents, caregivers, and preschool teachers with the tools and knowledge to provide well-rounded childcare, particularly in low-income families. We are dedicated to fostering healthy, well-developed children through education and support at the community level.
In line with our commitment to transparency and accountability, we are seeking to engage a qualified auditing firm to conduct our 2024 annual audit.
Scope of Work:
- Conduct an independent audit of TECEC’s financial statements for the year 2024.
- Review the organization’s accounting records, financial statements, internal controls, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Provide an audit opinion on the financial statements.
- Offer recommendations for improving financial management and governance practices.
- Submit a detailed audit report, including a management letter with key findings and suggested improvements.
Qualifications:
- The auditing firm must be registered and licensed to operate in Tanzania.
- Proven experience in auditing non-profit organizations, particularly those in the education or development sectors.
- Solid understanding of Tanzanian accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
- Ability to deliver high-quality audit services in a timely manner.
