Our Vision
Help every child to thrive in Tanzania.
Our Mission
Ensuring every child, from conception to age 8, receives the finest early start in life.
In the heart of Tanzania, a vision emerged to transform the future of our youngest generation. Recognizing that 53% of children aged 2-5 from low-income families face significant developmental delays, Joel Elphas founded the organization.
Our journey began with a profound realization: every child deserves the support to thrive in their formative years. Believing that change starts at home, we set out to empower parents, caregivers, and preschool teachers with the tools needed to nurture children’s health, learning, and emotional well-being.
At TECEC, we understand that early years are critical—they shape not only the child’s future but also the community at large.
Tanzania Early Childhood Education and Care (TECEC) is for impact grassroot organization rooted to address developmental delays by equip parents, caregivers, and preschool teachers with the tools and knowledge
