Poverty, malnutrition, limited stimulation, unsafe environments, and lack of responsive caregiving continue to prevent children from reaching their full potential.
TECEC was founded in 2021 to respond to this urgent challenge through practical, community-driven, and holistic early childhood development solutions that strengthen not only children, but also the families and systems surrounding them.
Tanzania Early Childhood Education and Care (TECEC) is a community-rooted Tanzanian non profit working to prevent and address developmental delays among young children in underserved communities across Tanzania.
Today, our work reaches children, parents, caregivers, teachers, and communities across Mwanza, Mara, and Rukwa regions through our integrated model
